Cat Camel Stretch: Enhance Your Flexibility & Relieve Back Tension!
We're going to review a Cat Camel Stretch. It is a great way to get some motion into your spine which is vital especially when you are sitting at a desk sitting at a computer or even if you get up and take walks and breaks periodically, you're still not truly moving your spine. So what the cat camel stretch will do is it will get motion so what we're going to do is you start off on your hands and knees. Knees are underneath your hips his hands underneath his shoulders and what he is going to do is he is going to round his back. So push your back upward and then what we're going to do is have him extend his back so he's going the other way so it's full extension and full flexion and he's going to repeat that a number of times. Ideally I would like to see him do at least three sets of 10 to get good motion into the spine. This is an exercise that you can do periodically throughout the course of a day but certainly once or twice a day would be ideal just to get some motion into the back.
