Core Stability Boost: Quick Side Plank Exercise!
Strengthen your core and improve stability with our brief side plank exercise
This is a side plank. This there are two ways of doing it. This is going to be the easier method of the two and helps stabilize your core. I recommend trying to do this on a regular basis, a couple times a week and I would do it as much as as long as comfortable for you. If you can get up to 30 seconds at a time, it's a great way to help stabilize and strengthen your core which will protect your back. So what you do is you bend the knees you make sure that hips are in line with the knees and your body is straight. You don't want to be leaning forward you, want to be hunching you, want to maintain that neutral posture and then what you're going to do is have lift your hips up off the table and you're going to maintain that as long as possible. You can maintain that for a good 30 seconds. That's a good side plank and it'll give you some stability.
