Effective Hip Stretch for More Mobility
Often, you might find that your hips are really tight, especially if you've had back problems. The back and the hips are connected through nerves, and frequently, when your back is irritated, the hips become very tight. This is a great way to open up the hips, increase mobility, and loosen them up.
Here's what you do: bring your knee up to your chest, pull it over to the other side using your hands, and pull that knee upward. By pulling it over and up, you'll get a nice deep stretch into that hip. This will help loosen up the muscles in the hip, providing some relief and enhancing mobility.
