Palloff Press: Ultimate Exercise for Shoulder and Core Stability
This exercise will help build shoulder stability as well as core stability.
So, we're going to go over the Pallof Press. It's an exercise that helps build shoulder stability and core strength. Here's what you do: stand perpendicular to a pulley or a theraband. Straighten your arms, extend them, and then bring them back to your body, almost like you're doing a press. Repeat this motion multiple times. The goal is to build up to 30 reps for three sets.
Start with a lower weight. I always recommend starting at a weight that you're comfortable with. Begin with 10 reps, and if you can do 10, do more. Try to build up to 30 reps for three sets. Once you achieve that, turn it around and increase the weight. This exercise is excellent for strengthening your core and is also great for shoulder stabilization.
